WELCOME ........... Aspiring Managers
Aspiring managers is a dynamic, industry-focused programme, designed to develop the leaders and managers of the future. The programme is being offered at two levels:
Level 2. The team leader and/or supervisor......
Level 3. The first-level manager ......
.......... working in tourism, hospitality and leisure businesses in Cornwall.
Throughout their personal development journey, the aspiring manager will gain the skills and knowledge needed to mature into the next generation of industry leaders and managers.
During the programme delegates will develop their own leadership and management style and aptitude through:
• collaboration with their peers from other businesses in Cornwall.
• expert industry briefings.
• exposure to a variety of different management approaches.
• continuous coaching that will work closely with them to identify specific support and their training needs in order that they may achieve their personal goals and support the businesses objectives.
On completion of the Aspiring Managers programme, delegates will be able to:
• Build, motivate and maintain a successful team.
• Lead with enthusiasm and confidence.
• Generate new ideas and opportunities that will take their organisation forward.
• Demonstrate enhanced vision, problem solving and decision making ability.
• Appreciate their role and mature into knowledgeable ambassadors for the tourism and hospitality industry in Cornwall.
WORKSHOPS ........... Aspiring Managers
The Aspiring Managers Programme will also engage speakers from within the tourism and hospitality industry to support the main objectives of the programme (The Industry, Quality, The Customer, Managing Self, Managing the Team, Managing the Task) through their own insight and experience. This enables the delegates to learn from industry expertise, helping create a tailored tourism and hospitality development programme.
